The music industry has always been underpinned on the same deal, someone with capital takes a cut of someone with talent. Labels, distributors, managers, platforms - the people who make the music rarely end up owning it, profiting from it, or having any say in what happens to it, and we're done with it.
Trill is in the process of converting into a fully democratic co-operative - legally restructuring so that our artists and creatives don't just work with us, they own us. One member, one vote. Real say over how revenue is split, who we sign, and where Trill goes next.
In order to help us achieve conversion from a limited company to a co-operative, we have to gauge interest from our community and register at least 20 members! We just need to ask you a few questions to proceed.
* (Once incorporated, we will be) Brighton's only independent artist co-operative.
* We'll help you distribute all your music to all streaming services, no fees.
* Sell tickets to your events at the lowest cut of any major platforms, we'll even help you organise events too!
* Owned 100% by artists & members, not by private equity, investors, or shareholders.
* Meet and work with experts, such as video editors, photographers, producers at our community events.
